PGM

Provincial Grand Master
Brother James Campbell Peddie

Bro James Campbell Peddie is a P.M. of Lodge St George No 333.
He has been a PM of that Lodge on 3 occasions.
This is Brother Peddie’s 4th commission, having been commissioned on three occasions as a SPGM by G A.L. McEwan, R Best, A Henderson during their tenures as PGM.
He was elected as PGM for the Province of Glasgow in 2104 and commissioned and installed by MWGMM Bro Charles Ian Robert Woolridge Gordon of Esselmont.
He is a member of GL Disciplinary Committee.
Jim was honoured to be awarded Honorary Grand Senior deacon by PGM Bro Robert Best.
He is also an honorary member of several lodges in the English constitution.
Jim had a lifetime career in the motor trade as an engineer and senior Manager and has now retired.
He lists his interests as golf and grand parenting.

Brother Alistair Henderson

Initiated into Lodge St John Whiteinch No 683 in September 1967, Master of the Lodge in 1980-1981 and again in 1982-1983, the centenary of the Lodge, His paternal Grandfather joined the Lodge in 1912, Three members of the family have served as Master of the Lodge, Affiliated to Lodge "The Princes" No 607. Commissioned as Provincial Grand Secretary in November 1982 by Bro. William Fleming, Provincial Grand Master, and subsequently by his successors, Bro. William C Shepardson, Henry Jeffrey, George AL McEwan and Robert R. Best. In 2004 Bro. William Gilmour appointed Bro. Henderson as Depute Provincial Grand Master, Appointed Provincial Grand Master at the end of October 2009, A member of the information and communications committee and thereafter the Benevolence and care committee in Grand Lodge, Currently and elected member of Grand committee.

Offices held in Grand Lodge - Senior Grand Standard Bearer (2014-2015), Grand Marshal (2015-2016), and assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies (2016-2017).

Representative of Grand Lodge of Andorra at the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

Chairman of fundraising committee of Provincial Grand Lodge 92009-2014)

Graduate of the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in Modern and Medieval History (BA. Hons) Retired Principal Teacher of History. Interested in Masonic research.

Depute Provincial Grand Master
Brother Andrew Mushet

Bro Andrew Mushet is a Past Master of Lodge Galen No1285.
This is Brother Mushet’s 2nd commission, having been previously commissioned by Bro Alistair Henderson during his tenure as PGM.
He is currently Grand Bard of the Grand Lodge of Scotland.
A member of Grand Committee serving presently on the Information and Communications Committee.
He is also active in many other orders in freemasonry.
Andrew is the Managing Director of a successful printing company, who lists his hobbies as reading, bookbinding and hillwalking.

Brother James McMillan

Bro Jim McMillan is a Past Master of Lodge Langside No955
This is Brother McMillan’s 3rd commission, having been previously commissioned by Bro William Gilmour and Bro Alistair Henderson during their tenure as PGM.
He is currently a member of the Board of Grand Lodge Stewards.
Bro McMillan is an Honorary Grand Senior Deacon, having been recommended to GMM by Bro Alistair Henderson during his commission as PGM.
He is also active in many other orders in freemasonry.
Jim is a retired manufacturing jeweller, who lists his hobbies as gardening and reading.

Brother Duncan Mackintosh

Bro Duncan MacKintosh is a M.M. of Lodge St Brydes No 579.
He is a Past Master of Lodge Cadder Freestone No 1584.
This is Brother MacKintosh’s 2nd commission, having been previously commissioned by Bro Alistair Henderson.
He is active in other orders of freemasonry and also in his local church.
Duncan is a retired Senior Fire Officer, who lists his interests as bowls, gardening, walking and theatre.

Substitute Provincial Grand Master
Brother Gavin G Stewart OBE

Brother Gavin G Stewart OBE joined Lodge Anima 1223 on the 21st January 1973. He progressed through the offices and was installed as the Master of the Lodge, for the first time, in December 1978.
After his year as Immediate Past Master (1979-80) he became the Lodge Treasurer, from 1981 to 2003.
He was again Master of the Lodge, for a second time, in 2005-6.
On the 31st November 1994 he was Commissioned as a Substitute Provincial Grand Master in the Provincial Grand Lodge of Glasgow (from 1994-1999). He was re-commissioned as a Substitute Provincial Grand Master by Bro James Campbell Peddie in November 2014.
He was awarded Honorary Grand Rank of Assistant Grand Treasurer on 25th November 1999.
Gavin has received Honorary Membership from the following Lodges: Lodge Athole No 413, Lodge Blythswood No 817, Lodge The Kings Park No 1386, Lodge Alexandra No 1282, and Lodge Toryglen No 1561.
Gavin continues to work hard for his mother Lodge and regularly takes part in its degree work.
He was a career Senior Civil Servant, and on retirement was awarded an OBE in the Queens Birthday Honours List of 2011.

Brother William Newlands

Bro William Newlands is a MM of lodge Springburn No1198 and a Past Master of Lodge Bishopbriggs No1259.
He has served lodge Bishopbriggs as RWM on 2 occasions.
This is Brother Newlands 1st commission,
He is also active in many other orders in freemasonry.
William is a motor engineer to trade, moving to the aerospace industry as an engineer.
He is currently a Health and Safety advisor within the aerospace industry, who lists his hobbies as DIY and reading.

Brother Gordon McDonald Heggie

Bro Gordon McD Heggie is a P.M. of Lodge St Tollcross No 1194.
This is Brother Heggie’s 1st commission.
He is a member of PGL Disciplinary Committee and was formerly its Chairman.
Gordon was honoured to be the 101st Honorary member of Lodge Tarbolton (Kilwinning) St James No 135.
He is active in other orders of freemasonry.
Gordon has had a lifetime career in the motor trade and is currently a Manager in a large franchise.
He lists his interests as golf and reading.

Bro Alan Cuthill is a Past Master of Partick St Mary’s Lodge No117.
This is Brother Cuthill’s 1st commission.
He is Chairman of PGL Education Committee.
He is also active in many other orders in freemasonry.
Alan is a career civil servant, who lists his hobbies as reading.

Brother Allan Jenkins

Bro Allan Jenkins is a Past Master of Lodge Concord No 1341 and is and has been the Lodge Treasurer for many years.
This is Brother Jenkins 1st Commission. 
Bro Jenkins is an Honorary Grand Senior Deacon, having been recommended to GMM by Bro Alistair Henderson during his commission as PGM.
Bro. Jenkins is a Past Provincial Grand Senior Warden
He is also active in other orders in freemasonry.
Allan is a retired Supervisor, who lists his hobbies as gardening and Computers.
