Robert Traish, MM Lodge Dramatic No.571 aka Robert T Leonard
Robert was born in Baillieston in December 1967 and grew up in St.Leonards, East Kilbride, Once leaving school Robert had various jobs in the Retail Sector but realising that 9 till 5 was not for him he went to sea entertaining on cruise ships for Thomson Holidays.
Afterwards he was in Various Bands Fastlayne and Drunken State releasing a few albums. Robert Started on the cabaret circuit doing impressions of various singers and his comedy parody. It was then around 1999 that Robert realised that he could do a great Impression of Meat Loaf and started doing his tribute to him with the classics,Bat Out Of Hell, I'd Do Anything For Love, You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth and Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad to name but a few.
It wasn't until 2014 that the Tom I Am show came onto the scene. Roberts very own tribute to Tom Jones singing the classics from What's New Pussycat, Delilah, Its Not Unusual and You Can Leave Your Hat On.
On May 17th 2019 Robert performed at the Provincial Grand Lodge Cabaret evening in Aid of Pancreatic cancer research, the first cabaret for nearly 20yrs. The brethren in attendance were treated to a fabulous show on the evening.
Robert was Initiated into Lodge Dramatic No.571 in the year 2000.
At the time of writing this Robert has just been nominated for the National Music Tribute Award.
