On Saturday 5th June 2021, The Provincial Grand Master Brother Andrew Mushet accompanied by The Depute Provincial Grand Master Brother Alan Cuthill, Provincial Grand Senior Warden Brother Stephen Urie, Provincial Grand Junior Warden Brother Alastair Hill and Brother Alan Duthie Member of the Board of Stewards attended the D. Day Memorial service at Knightswood War Memorial.
The Lord Provost of Glasgow Philip Braat, The Lord Dean of Guild and Deacon Convenor Ken Dalglish were also in attendance along with Councillor Malcolm Balfour (pictured above with the deputation)
The Ceremony was conducted by The Chaplain of The Veteran's Chaplaincy, The Last post was delivered thereafter 2 minutes silence was observed. The Provincial Grand Master Brother Mushet was then invited to lay a wreath at the War Memorial on behalf of the Province.
After the standards were lowered and dismissed the assembled dignitaries retired for some refreshments.
