On Thursday 11th November 2021, a deputation from the Provincial Grand of Glasgow, headed by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Bro William Newlands, accompanied by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother Richard Anderson and Assistant Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies  Bro Malcom Murray, attended Lodge Possilpark No.1330, where a poignant remembrance day meeting was held, RWM Bro Alexander Sproul, laid a wreath on behalf of the lodge to remember all of the fallen.

During a recess Bro Bob Cooper PM curator and historian from the Grand Lodge of Scotland gave a lecture on the River Valley Road POW Masonic Club 10th July 1943,  it was an extremely entertaining and educational lecture, which was well received by the attentive brethren.  Bro Cooper, fielded a variety of questions from the floor, before finishing to huge applause from all brethren.

Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother William Newlands commenting that " that we are seeing more and more of these educational lectures taking place and it is only to the benefit of all brethren educationally and masonic."
