Brother Arthur Willams was initiated on 22nd August 1968, passed on the 5th of September 1968 and raised on the 19th September 1968.
Arthur attended the lodge regularly untill work commitments forced him to take a break from the Lodge for a number of years, he returned to the lodge a few years ago and has now become a stalwart in the lodge.
Arthur is currently the lodge Director of Ceremonies, a role he tentatively took on several years ago. Arthur is a credit to himself and more importantly a credit to Lodge Bishopbriggs No.1259.
Brother Robert Mckinnon was initiated on 12th of December 1968, passed on the 26th December 1968 and raised on the 9th January 1969.
Robert is affectionately known as the Lodge "Vicar" as he has held the office of Chaplain for as long as most of the brethren can remember. Brother McKinnon is a much loved member of the Lodge Bishopbriggs family and has earned the respect of all in the Lodge.
Brother Bruce Lamb was initiated on the 16th December 1968, passed on the 6th of January 1969, raised on the 3rd of February 1969.
Brother Lamb affiliated to Lodge Bishopbriggs in 2015, his Mother Lodge being Lodge The Kings Park, No. 1386 from the Province of Renfrewshire East. Bruce also attended Lodge Castlemilk No. 1536 until they amalgamated with Lodge South Western No. 1242 becoming Lodge Unity. Lodge Unity is currently dormant. Bruce has been an asset to the lodge and regulary participates in the ceremonial work and has become an integral part of Lodge Bishopbriggs.
After the presentation the assembled brethren were treated to an excellent 2nd Degree by a team of Reigning Masters.
The Provincial Grand Master extended his thanks to the Master, Brother Norman Mckinnon of Lodge Bishopbriggs No.1259 for his invite to present the diplomas and wished the brethren all the best for the rest of the year.
